WASTE COMMODITIES

When we started Beltertech we knew the problem that we were causing in the cement and concrete industry,so we set out to help fix it,Just alone in the cement industry. We are accountable for more than 8% of the global carbon emissions and that is just in our sector. The second major problem that we encountered after co2 emissions was landfill waste. 130 million tons of waste is filled into our landfill’s here in the states every year, 80% of this could have been recycled. We’re not saying we can put all waste into our concrete products.

This is when we set out to start our landfill diversion program. We could not believe the amount of like minded companies that were out there trying to divert their waste as well, so it was great to team up with them to solve the problem.

Recycled commodities such as metal, glass, paper, plastics, and others feed U.S. manufacturing operations including transportation, infrastructure, manufactured goods, electronics, healthcare and personal supplies, and other priority needs for today’s world.

Recycling is the critical first link in the manufacturing value chain and is an important component of the protection of the environment and American competitiveness. Recycled commodities such as metal, paper, plastics, and others feed U.S. manufacturing operations including transportation, infrastructure, manufactured goods, electronics, healthcare and personal supplies, and other priority needs for today’s world.

Without recycling, we would need to harvest the earth for its natural resources, and/or depend on foreign countries for raw materials. Our world, our planet, and our livelihoods depend on recycling.

PRODUCT LICENSING

At Belter Tech, we created our licensing program to aid in the global diversion of landfill waste and the creation of circular economies. Our licensing program is straightforward, involving both Belter Tech (the licensor) as well as the licensee.

In this relationship, Belter Tech owns the rights to the intellectual property (IP) and the licensee gets to manufacture products utilizing the IP via a license agreement between the parties. The licensee will pay Belter Tech a royalty for the use of the IP, which can either be a flat rate or a percentage of the sales of the products that incorporate the IP. This model can be applied to nearly all our product lines.

Our product licenses allow licensees the leverage to expand their product selection for a negotiated period of time.

Licensing benefits both the licensor and the licensee. The licensor can offer new products that fall outside its core competencies, as well as acquire a critical revenue stream essential for growth. At the same time, the licensee gains a competitive edge in the marketplace by differentiating their products through groundbreaking IP. Both businesses can see their respective brands gain increased relevancy, recall, and revenue.
